Madrasah Foundation Stage (Early Years)

Ages: 3 – 5 years

Learning Philosophy

At this stage, Madrasatut Tarbiyah nurtures a child’s natural curiosity through play, adab, and Qur’an-centred exploration. Learning is gentle and experiential, connecting every discovery to Allah’s creation. Children develop early language, numeracy, and social-emotional skills while being introduced to the manners and values of Islam.

Focus Areas

  • Development of adab (manners) and akhlaq through stories, routines, and modeling by teachers.
    • Building love for the Qur’an through rhythmic recitation, short surahs, and memorisation of daily duʿāʾs.
    • Learning Arabic sounds and simple words, linking them to daily life (animals, colours, family).
    • Strengthening communication and pre-literacy in Arabic, English and Bangla for expression and comprehension.
    • Foundational mathematical and reasoning skills through play, patterns, and hands-on exploration.
